Introduction/specifics

Hello dear parents!

My name is Maryam Tabarian, I was born in Iran (Tehran) in 1982 and have been living in Germany since 1996.

I am a mother myself; my son was born in Essen in 2011. As a single mother, I know that it is not easy to balance family and career. That is why I decided to retrain as a daycare provider to support parents and offer children a family-like environment.

For me, working as a daycare provider means not making any distinctions based on educational background, religion, cultural origin, disability, gender or age. Every child has their strengths and weaknesses. My aim is to meet children where they are, observe them and accompany, support and encourage them at their own individual learning pace.

Rooms

Our rooms cover 103 m² on the ground floor and are completely designed for the care of

toddlers.

All rooms are beautifully brightly decorated so that the children feel comfortable. There are plenty of toddler-friendly

toys available without making the room look ‘cluttered’. We attach great importance to

educational play and development materials and wooden toys.

When you enter our premises, you first come into a long hallway. From there, you can access

the various rooms:

In the group's cloakroom, the children can hang up their clothes and put their shoes away.

Each child has their own compartment marked with a photo.

Breakfast and meals are prepared in the kitchen. We make sure that the food is healthy

and balanced.

In the bathroom, each child has their own towel, as well as a potty and a step stool

for washing their hands independently.

The playroom can be used not only for creative activities, such as playing, crafts and

role-playing, but also for eating together. Furniture for the little ones is available for this purpose,

such as a children's table with matching chairs. (U3)

Our children sleep on a platform in their own little beds under a starry sky.

Our nappy-changing station is located in the bedroom and each child has their own nappy compartment.

The small fenced-in garden completes the facility.

Parking is available directly in front of the facility. Only collapsible buggies can be parked in the hallway.

Outdoor Facilities

Our large play area gives the children direct access to the garden.

As children are very active and curious, the garden is available to them as a play and discovery zone.

The children have a slide and a sandpit with sand toys to play with.

To help them learn about nature, there are small flower boxes and a small birdhouse in the garden.

Children love to observe and touch small creatures.

Cooperations

Regular outdoor meetings with other childminders and their daycare children.

Teamwork with parents

Cooperation with parents: When working with parents, it is important to us that we have mutual trust in each other. We support and accompany parents through regular conversations about their child's education, upbringing and care.

For this purpose, educational documentation is kept with the parents' consent.

Doorstep conversations take place daily and serve as a quick exchange of information.

Detailed development discussions take place on request or once a year by prior appointment.

These discussions should take place in a calm atmosphere and after prior consultation with the parents.

Once a year, a parents' evening is held to get to know each other better and

discuss everything that is important.

Parents are warmly invited to special celebrations such as St. Martin's Day, St. Nicholas' Day, Christmas party and

farewell party. Together with their children, they take part in craft activities or baking cookies.

Openness and adherence to binding agreements are paramount for good cooperation.
