Introduction/specifics

Hand in hand through life

In cooperation with the Diakoniewerk Essen, we offer you, as parents, trustworthy and loving care for your children from age 1 to kindergarten. Your child's well-being is our top priority.

In a family-friendly environment, your child will receive the attention and love necessary for healthy mental and physical development. Playful entertainment and intellectual stimulation are part of the program, as are daily shared breakfasts, lunches, and outdoor activities.

Childcare takes place in our private rooms and, depending on the weather, outdoors (nearby playgrounds, forests, etc.). There is ample space for play and rest.

We offer multilingual care. German is the primary language, as well as Russian and English.

Rooms

Childcare takes place in our specially rented rooms on the first floor of Mählerweg 1. With 120 square meters of space, we offer plenty of room for playing, learning, crafting, painting, romping, and, of course, relaxing.

Outdoor Facilities

Our motto: Out into nature

After breakfast, we head out into nature with our large UlfBo handcarts. Nearby forests and meadows invite you to learn and linger. Our large playground is about a 10-minute walk away. A sandbox, play equipment, a soccer field, and much more offer the children plenty of space to develop. We provide all kinds of sand toys, Bobby Cars, and other things. There's something for everyone.

Basics

Day Care Group

We care for no more than 9 children together. It is important to us to create a family atmosphere for the children, where they feel comfortable with their "part-time siblings." Care should be harmonious, and no one should be harmed. Through parent-teacher meetings and close cooperation with the Diakoniewerk Essen (Essen Diakonie Works), we form a strong team.

Our small group allows us to respond particularly well to each child's individual characteristics and needs. This means we give full attention and loving dedication to every child entrusted to our care.

Additional Offerings

Special Offers

Birthday

On this day, the birthday child takes center stage; they can decide what we sing, play, and read. Of course, a birthday song and candles are a must.

Carnival Party

We celebrate Carnival with balloons, face painting, costumes, a polonaise, music, and lots of fun.

Quality Assurance

Educational Measures, Continuing Education

Continuing education measures for optimal childcare are important, if not necessary. We would like to take advantage of these opportunities to be able to act competently and professionally in our interactions with children, for the benefit of the children.

Collaboration between childminders

A welcome opportunity to exchange experiences, support each other in childcare, and also to positively complement each other through different experiences. If necessary, the children in need of care can be placed in the care of another childminder. This way, the parents' schedule is not disrupted.

Teamwork with parents

Our work isn't limited to day-to-day childcare; we also focus on a personal and friendly collaboration with parents. This not only fosters a special daily exchange between us and the parents, but also allows the parents to draw on each other's experiences. It's no less common for parents to get along so well that they enjoy meeting outside of daycare hours.
