Hello, dear families—welcome to our daycare center in Altenessen!
We are delighted that you have found us. Our family center is a place where every child is accepted just as they are, with their strengths, their curiosity, their idiosyncrasies, and their very own way of discovering the world. We open our doors to all children and create a space where diversity is not only visible, but valued and taken for granted.
For us, inclusion means that no one has to adapt in order to belong. We design our environment and our everyday life in such a way that every child finds a good place for their needs, whether they need special support or simply want to grow a little bit more every day. We firmly believe that children learn from each other and become strong together.
we want every child to feel safe, seen, and cared for. And we want you as a family to feel: We are welcome here. This is where we belong.
Our daycare center is a place for everyone
In four well-equipped groups (2x group type I with 20 children aged 2-6 and 2x group type III with 23 children aged 3-6), we offer space for a total of 86 children.
An important part of our work is our partially open concept: the children have their regular group as a secure anchor, but at the same time they are free to move around in different play and learning areas, depending on their interests.
In this way, we promote independence, interaction, and collaborative learning across group boundaries. Our inclusive approach reinforces the idea that every child can find their own path while also being part of a vibrant community.
Our building is barrier-free, with bright, inviting rooms for playing, learning, resting, and romping around. The spacious outdoor area, which is hidden away behind our facility, invites discovery with its natural areas, hills, sandpits, and an obstacle course.
Inclusion is part of our everyday life
With our multi-professional team, we support all children, with and without special needs, individually and with respect. We offer the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team of educational specialists, special education teachers, and therapists to ensure that every child receives the support they need.
Our motto is: “Living and learning together.” We break down barriers and create access: for all children, for all families.Education, co-determination, and participation
We attach great importance to participation: children are allowed to contribute their interests, have a say, and help shape things.
At the same time, healthy nutrition, language, exercise, and children's rights are important areas of education for us. At our family center, we regularly offer activities for parents and children—for example, parent-child meetings, celebrations of different cultures, parent cafés, and consultation hours with the JPI.
Dear families, at the Glückauf daycare center, we want every child to feel seen, appreciated, and supported in their uniqueness. In an atmosphere of friendliness, openness, and reliability, we accompany your children on their journey, always with the goal of growing together, laughing together, and enabling every stage of development.
We look forward to getting to know you and your children. Feel free to stop by!
