Die städtische Kindertageseinrichtung Forschepoeterweg liegt im Stadtteil Schonnebeck, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur
Gustav-Heinemann-Gesamtschule.

Die Buslinie 170 hält in unmittelbarer Nähe und die Straßenbahnlinie 107 ist in ca.7 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen.
Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in den Seitenstraßen der Kindertagesstätte.

Introduction/specifics

There are 46 seats divided into three groups, of which 17 are U3 places and 29 are 33 places. Intercultural work is in the foreground for us, as our kindergarten visits children from different nations. Furthermore We would like to design the daycare so that the children can make positive social contacts. This gives the children appreciation, knowledge and education. In a positive atmosphere, children are encouraged and challenged according to their strengths. Oriented on the specific living environment of the children, we create a lively everyday life for daycare. Our goal is to work as a family supplement.

Rooms

In addition to the group, side rooms and bedrooms, our Kita has various function rooms (eg large range of movement). The differentiated room concept takes into account the children's needs for movement, creativity, peace and relaxation. Sanitary facilities for each group are of course available. The hall is used for further play. There are large play carpets and various movement elements that can be used by all children across groups. We attach great importance to interior design, because children under 3 years and over 3 years need different "educational spaces" in which they can live out their curiosity and their thirst for knowledge.

Outdoor Facilities

Our Kita has an outdoor area that offers differentiated play and movement possibilities. Sandpit and the possibility to mud are available. In addition, the children can try out with child-friendly vehicles. In addition, there is a rope garden, slides for all ages, climbing tower with integrated playhouse double swing and U3 swing and a raised bed.

Daily Schedule

Intensive coexistence in the individual groups promotes the children's competencies right from the start. Each day of the Kitatag offers a variety of activities based on the level of development and the individual needs of the children.

Food

A part of our educational work is the children's eating together. The children sit together with the educators at a laid table, hold table discussions and exchange ideas. For our daily work with children, nutrition is a great way to link health and education together. Basically, we therefore wish that all children participate in a joint lunch. We offer you, depending on your wishes, but also a childcare place without lunch. During the course of the day, it is possible for every child to have as many drinks as they want. Our Kita is supplied by a caterer. This allows us to consider special wishes (lactose, vegetarian, etc.).   Breakfast is individually prepared by the parents at home and given to the children. Once a month a breakfast is served in all groups. In the afternoon, a snack is offered to the children, for example fruit / vegetables, rice cakes, etc. Of course, the menu takes into account both intercultural requirements as well as allergies and food intolerances of the children.

Quality Assurance

Dealing with the quality of pedagogical work is the task of the institution / child daycare facility. To ensure quality, binding standards have been developed. This includes, among other things, that each Kita created a pedagogical concept and regularly revised. Suggestions and feedback from parents are welcome. Your child's development is regularly documented until the change to school (documentation sheets), this also includes the language development of your child. Every year, discussions about the individual level of development of the child take place in order to jointly support the educational pathways of the child. In order to meet the demands and tasks of daily work, employees regularly take part in further education and training. This ensures that their expertise is constantly expanded and that a modern and competent way of working takes place.

A good cooperation with parents builds on a partnership and trustful interaction with each other. Regular discussions about the everyday life and the development of the child are a matter of course for us. Holiday Care

The closing days of the daycare center are coordinated with the parents' advisory board of the daycare center at the beginning of the daycare. If holiday care is mandatory in individual cases, please contact the daycare management. Emergency care is offered in close consultation with other day care centers in the district.
